Go to a good bank, or to the financial aid dept at the college ur wanting to attend, those are your best bets…be leary of these infomercials and radio stations talking about how easy it is to get money, you can get in over your head in debt and end up being in the poor house with a college degree!

What is a “best” student loan? Federally funded student loans are all the same: same rate, same terms, same qualifying factors. One is not better than another.
Private student loans are a different story and should be avoided at all costs.
Loans to not help you in university. You do that. Loans just pay the bills so you can be there.

Ok I have the federal direct sub loan and other things like the pell grant etc.
But I still have to cough up 3,000 dollars and I was wondering what is the best company that gives students, student loans?

If you can not attend college on your federal student loans and you grants and scholarships, its not a very good school. You can attend plenty of schools for what you get in federal aid without resorting to the world of sub-prime private student loans which will be the death of the US economy in a few years when all those folks who were suppose to start paying them back, can’t. Because they were stupid and borrowed 120K to be a kinder garden teacher.

Best Student Loans I need help PLEASE!?
I am going to be going to a private college this fall. I still havn’t found a school yet, and I am going to need to take out about $14,000 just for this semester. I will approximately have to take out $24,000 for the whole year. I have been looking for the best places to get student loans. I already filled out FAFSA, and will be getting STAFFORD, but I need more.. If anyone can help with advice I would appreciate it. I’ve already been into three banks, and they are pretty much useless when it comes to answering all my questions. They just put me on the phone with people higher up (BofA, Wachovia, First Citizen) Thank you for your time, and help!

Remember the rule for borrowing for college. Do not borrow more in your years of college than you will make your first year out of college with your degree. Pick a cheaper college to stay in this rule.

Where is the best place to find direct student loans?
I am attending UCSB in a month and it is going to cost me 7-8k per quarter. What loans would be best for me? Obviously direct subsidized loans would be the best, but is it better to get government loans or loans from the bank or where? Is there a website that compares different loan companies?
